The holiday region Gstaad is considered to be one of the best cross-country skiing areas of Switzerland. Classical cross-country skiers as well as skate-skiers will find trails to match their taste. On the sun terrace between Saanenmöser and Schönried there are various trails ranging from 2.5 to 4.6 km. If you are looking for more variety, you will find a range of scenic trails the valley between Gstaad and Gsteig or in Saanen. The cross-country trail of Sparenmoos, set in a beautiful landscape, is a unique outdoor experience.

The cross-country ski trail between Saanenmöser-Schönried will delight skiers of all levels. And, on the sunny terrace of Gstaad, you can enjoy views of breathtaking mountain panoramas. The central location makes Saanenmöser-Schönried a suitable training area. Other highlights are the night cross-country ski run and the dog cross-country ski run.

Turbach
Nathalie von Siebenthal, the World Cup cross-country skier from Lauenen, trains here. The training route of the 2015 U23 World Champion leads from the small village of Turbach to the Wintermatte and back again. The dreamlike winter landscape also invites to leisurely laps in the idyllic valley.

Sparenmoos
Cross-country skiing enthusiasts can indulge in their winter hobby on the 21 kilometres of trails. On the high plateau above Zweisimmen, inexperienced as well as experienced cross-country skiers are welcome. The cross-country skiing experience is complete with a stop at one of the restaurants along the trail.

Zweisimmen - St. Stephan
The valley trail, which leads through the wonderful Simmental, is easy to reach by train. The slight gradient helps to get back to Zweisimmen. Conversely, the cross-country skiers are challenged a little more.
